FORGE Design Studios was founded with the pillars of community, growth, and professionalism in mind, and at the heart of this community is a always team of passionate students.
The FORGE Executive Board has grown and evolved over the years, but no matter its size this team maintains our mission for making design accessible to all.
Regardless of school, major, or level of design experience, all students of Boston University have the opportunity to become leaders at FORGE.
Meet the team | 2022-2023
Tiffany (she/her) is a senior majoring in Graphic Design. Her main design interest lies in branding, and she enjoys working on creating posters and booklets. She also enjoys photography, exhibitions, and editorial designs. She loves traveling, exploring new places, and eating out with friends. When she’s relaxing indoors, she spends her time listening to music and binging dramas and shows.

Florence (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Advertising and minoring in Computer Science and Visual Arts. She is from the Bay Area, California and loves thrifting, making Spotify playlists, and cafe-hopping. With a background in fine art, she is interested in the interconnected field of graphics and UI/UX Design.

Yuka (she/her) is a junior majoring in Graphic Design and Advertising. She’s from Japan and New Zealand, and she loves traveling, meeting people, exploring nature, doing outdoor activities, and playing any type of sports.

Chloe (she/her) is a junior majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is from Southern California, and her main design interests include UI/UX design, graphic design, and packaging design. Her hobbies include discovering new cafes, listening to music, and watching new movies.

Thomas (he/him) is a senior majoring in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Information Systems. He joined FORGE sophomore year because he thought learning about design sounded both interesting and useful. FORGE taught him the importance of organizing data in a way that is easily accessible and user-friendly. In his free time, he likes to cook and practice the piano.

Yewon (she/her) is a senior majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Advertising. She grew up in upstate NY but is living in SoCal now. She binges on K-dramas and indulges in overpriced sugary drinks. Yewon’s favorite living/existing thing in the world is her cat, Boogie.

Stella (she/her) is a junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business Administration and Management. She is from Southern California and South Korea, and her main design interests are UX/UI design, branding, and graphic design. Outside of FORGE, she sings in the Treblemakers, designs in BostonHacks, and leads as Vice President of the Korean Student Association.

Jennifer (she/her) is a junior majoring in Advertising. She is from Taiwan and is interested in UX/UI design. In her free time, she likes to explore the city with her friends or binge-watch TV shows and embroider.

Ella (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. She has lived in MA her whole life and enjoys reading, listening to music, and generally just doing things on her computer, ranging from games to reading (more!) books. Her main design interests include web design, UI/UX design, and front-end development.

Janet (she/her) is a sophomore majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Business Administration and Management. She is especially passionate about UX design and enjoys listening to conferences, talks, and discussions relating to design, tech, and business. Outside of school, she loves listening to Taylor Swift songs, trying new bakeries, cafes, and restaurants, and watching new shows.

Nolan (she/her) is a senior majoring in Advertising and Graphic Design. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and has always been passionate about the arts. Her main design interests are UX/UI design and creative coding.

Sheryl (she/her) is a junior studying Graphic Design. She is from Mt. Arlington, New Jersey, and her interests in design lie in branding, UI/UX, and editorial. In her free time, she likes to read, exercise, and eat good food!

Yeji (she/her) is a junior majoring in Graphic Design and studying for a master’s degree in Art Education. She is from Bergen County, New Jersey, and she is interested in graphic design as well as marketing/advertising. Other than design, she loves to crochet and go to cute cafes with her friends.
